Thank you for playing in the Canton Parks and Recreation 2021 Softball Leagues. We are excited the softball season is under way at Willig! As we are beginning league play, I wanted to send a reminder of some basic rules for Willig that will be enforced this season. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding any of the Willig Field rules, feel free to reply to this email or call me directly on my office line listed below. Please make teammates, spectators, etc… aware of the appropriate rules as well.
No Dogs
No Drinking or Smoking
No swinging of bats on the concrete
No disrespectful behavior towards opponents, umpires, or staff by players and/or team’s spectators
Teams are responsible to clean dugout area after games
Players in the dugout are to stay off the field while games are in action (exceptions: on deck, first base coach, third base coach)
All players need to have signed a team roster sheet before they play in a game
